Anacomp Augments Management Team with Document Capture Veterans
New Executives to Lead Americas Sales and Worldwide Professional Services as Company Starts 2008 Fiscal Year
SAN DIEGO, CA - OCTOBER 2, 2007 - Anacomp® Inc., a leading provider of document and business process services and solutions, today announced the hiring of two new executives that will strengthen the company's ability to expand and deliver its litigation, document capture and business process services as it kicks off its 2008 fiscal year on October first.
Matt Albanese joins Anacomp as Vice President of Worldwide Professional Services, bringing 25 years of document management experience and 17 years of executive management within professional services, technical support and product development functions. Previously, Mr. Albanese was Vice President of Professional Services at EMC Captiva. He joined Captiva through its 2002 acquisition of ActionPoint, Inc., which Mr. Albanese joined in 1995 as Director of Engineering and was promoted in 1997 to Vice President of Professional Services. Prior to ActionPoint, Mr. Albanese was the Director of Engineering and Porting Services for Plexus Software, a Division of Banctec, from 1990 to 1995. Previously at Plexus, Mr. Albanese was Manager of Porting Services from 1989 to 1990 and was a Development Engineer from 1987 to 1989. Mr. Albanese holds a BS in computer science.
Tom Ullman joins Anacomp as Senior Vice President of Americas Sales. Mr. Ullman brings more than 22 years of technology experience and over 17 years of successful sales management experience in the capture and enterprise software realms, most recently as Director of Americas Sales at EMC Captiva. Mr. Ullman also served in sales management roles at Veritas, Platinum Technology and Prime Computer Corporation. He holds a B.S. in Finance from the University of Colorado.
