City of Inglewood Selects Anacomp for Document Scanning Services
Contract to Benefit Multiple Departments and Leverage Existing Business Rules

Inglewood has selected Anacomp for a
multi-department, back-file conversion
project. As part of the contract, Anacomp
will scan and index a multitude of documents
and transfer the document images and
metadata to the corresponding departments.
Documents to be digitized include police
department booking records, planning
department permits and records, finance
department checks and journal vouchers, and
city clerk planning resolutions and meeting
minutes. All documentation will be indexed
according to previously established business
rules and policies within the City of
Inglewood.
Our agencies needed a dynamic solution that
would allow us to better serve the needs of
our citizens by reducing the time it took to
retrieve records. In addition, storage space
from countless file cabinets was also
becoming a concern, said Keri Rodriguez,
