McCarthy Tetrault to Standardize on CaseLogistix for Enterprise-Wide Litigation Support

Leading Canadian Firm Selects Platform to Collect, Organize, Review, Analyze and Produce Digital Evidence

SAN DIEGO, CA, JULY 21, 2009 - Anacomp® Inc., a leading provider of litigation support and business process services and solutions, today announced a major enterprise license sale of its CaseLogistix® litigation review platform to McCarthy Tétrault, a leading Canadian law firm. The firm will standardize on CaseLogistix, which enables legal teams to quickly collect, organize, review, analyze and produce electronically stored information (ESI). CaseLogistix will allow McCarthy Tétrault to significantly accelerate litigation review processes and reduce associated costs.

"Standardizing on CaseLogistix strongly aligns with our overall business and IT strategies. It will help us deploy the best resources available to serve our clients regardless of where they are located," said Jay Austin, McCarthy Tétrault's CIO. "CaseLogistix will help us further increase our efficiency and effectiveness at managing electronic evidence for our clients. Its user-friendly interface, which can be displayed in English or French with the click of a mouse, will reduce training time and improve adoption."

"CaseLogistix will allow McCarthy Tétrault to offer our clients a superior solution for organizing, reviewing, analyzing and producing electronic evidence," added Kelly Inglese, McCarthy Tétrault's Senior Director of Litigation Support Services. McCarthy Tétrault provides a broad range of legal services, advising on large and complex assignments for Canadian and international interests and is well established in major commercial centers across Canada and in London, UK.

"We're extremely pleased that McCarthy Tétrault, one of Canada’s most distinguished law firms, will make CaseLogistix available to a wide range of users throughout Canada," said Tom Ullman, Anacomp's Senior Vice President of U.S. Sales. "We're seeing increasing interest from leading Canadian law firms who desire to benefit from CaseLogistix as are a growing list of American firms who are streamlining review processes, reducing costs and creating competitive advantage."

Used by more than two dozen AmLaw 200 firms, CaseLogistix enables legal teams to quickly collect, organize, review, analyze and produce any amount of digital evidence using an interface similar to that of Microsoft® Outlook®. The system is fully Unicode compliant and is able to recognize all foreign language character sets. In addition, CaseLogistix's innovative docNative™ Paradigm approach to eDiscovery emphasizes native file review, empowering users to view hundreds of file types, including audio and video, without the need of third party file conversions. Anacomp's docNative Paradigm also empowers the ability to manage images such as TIFFS, so hybrid format environments of TIFFS, near-native, and native files are seamless to the user.
