Anacomp and Modus Announce Strategic Alliance to Accelerate Electronic Discovery
CaseLogistix to Serve as Cornerstone as Modus Expands its Litigation Support Service Offerings with Hosted Review, Analytics and Production
SAN DIEGO, CA, OCTOBER 13, 2009 — Anacomp®, Inc., a leading provider of litigation support, eDiscovery and document-centric business process services and solutions, today announced a new strategic relationship with Modus LLC, a comprehensive legal technology consultant and services provider. Under the terms of the agreement, Modus will resell the hosted version of CaseLogistix®, Anacomp's flagship litigation support platform, as part of its eDiscovery services, offering its clients the ability to quickly organize, review, analyze and produce digital evidence for more streamlined and accelerated litigation review. As part of the strategic relationship, Modus will serve as a preferred provider of processing and other electronic discovery services as an Anacomp Connected Partner Program reseller and certified services provider.
"We're excited to offer CaseLogistix as a cornerstone of our review solutions portfolio, as electronic discovery costs are most effectively minimized during the review process," said Abtin Buergari, Principal of Modus. "Our clients have been demanding we provide stronger end-to-end eDiscovery services and solutions, and CaseLogistix's robust architecture allows for more comprehensive reporting and a user-friendly, easy-to-use interface. Its innovative docNative™ Paradigm approach to eDiscovery cuts review time in half and is leaps ahead of many older review systems on the market today."
With a mission to provide its clients with comprehensive legal support by implementing effective solutions for their litigation technology needs, Modus offers a full range of litigation processes, including litigation support consulting, data collection, electronic discovery processing, review solutions and web hosting.
"We look forward to collaborating with Modus to best serve growing client demand," said Wayne Ford, Anacomp's Senior Vice President of Marketing, Channels and Strategic Alliances. "This partnership unites two proven, client-oriented companies and is indicative of our interest in aligning ourselves with best-in-breed partners in order to deliver a more complete, end-to-end eDiscovery consulting, services and solutions portfolio to the marketplace."
Used by more than two dozen AmLaw 200 firms, CaseLogistix enables legal teams to quickly collect, organize, review, analyze and produce any amount of electronically stored information (ESI) using an interface similar to that of Microsoft® Outlook®. The system is fully Unicode compliant and is able to recognize all foreign language character sets. In addition, CaseLogistix's innovative docNative Paradigm approach to eDiscovery emphasizes native file review, empowering users to view hundreds of file types, including audio and video, without the need of third party file conversions. Anacomp's docNative Paradigm also empowers the ability to manage images such as TIFFS, so hybrid format environments of TIFFS, near-native, and native files are seamless to the user.
