CD Services
Anacomp’s CD Services offer an effective and flexible way to archive and deliver documents. These CD Services are available as a standalone offering or can be integrated with a LAN or WAN environment. The docHarbor Desktop PDF Viewer is a service-based document management system that transforms and indexes a broad range of data types to Adobe's widely adopted Portable Document Format (PDF). Our secure Anacomp data centers in various locations throughout the U.S. and Europe then distributes the data, along with a searchable database of metadata information, to you on CD/DVD media.
Using an integrated version of Adobe's Acrobat Reader, your documents are accessible with simple and flexible search capabilities. They are viewable from your desktop via your private network by accessing the documents and metadata on a shared network drive, a local hard drive, or directly off the CD/DVD media using our QuickView installation option. As a service offering, docHarbor Desktop brings other benefits not possible with in-house software solutions:

in operation in our data centers, and our application engineers and
implementation teams are already in place. There is no wait to install
hardware, load software, or configure systems.
Minimal capital investment—docHarbor Desktop does not require any hardware investment. Just install the Desktop client on the user's desktop to start reaping immediate benefits.
Reduce technology spending and obsolescence—docHarbor Desktop requires only a conventional PC running Windows XP or Windows 2000 or space on your server for the database.
