Sharing and Portability
- Thin Client (Citrix) Enhancements: CaseLogistix has made many modifications to improve performance in a shared desktop environment such as Citrix. The profile location, for example, has been modified so that multiple users on the same desktop can separately save their application settings, such as windows sizes and locations, etc.
- Offline Capability: With a touch of a button, you can take your documents and data with you on your laptop and maintain full CaseLogistix functionality. When you return from home or on the road, the software will resynchronize your changes with the master SQL database on your network.
- Replication: CaseLogistix handles replication and synchronization of multiple copies of the same CaseLogistix database. For example, a firm has 10 worldwide offices and wants to access a common document library. Replication allows each office to maintain a separate copy of the same library, while synchronizing changes, and additions between the copies on a scheduled basis.
- Web Version: CaseLogistix Web allows you to share documents with expert witnesses, outside counsel, and others to which you want to extend limited rights. CaseLogistix also allows for you to code documents, redact, search, organize, and create notes from Internet Explorer.
- Document Sharing: CaseLogistix can produce CD's and DVD's with specified document sets and index files that you can send to others. Documents can be viewed in CaseLogistix, and non-CaseLogistix users can view them by accessing an index file.
- Third Party Integration: CaseLogistix is integrated with and completing integration with a variety of software vendors such as IPro, Equivio, CaseMap, LiveNote, TrialDirector, and Syngence.
- Import/Export: CaseLogistix WayPoint will convert documents and data to and from almost all other litigation support software.
- Syngence Integration: If you have Syngence databases, you can now right click on a document or document text to perform a Synthetix search for related documents. IndyGo publisher and WayPoint are now configured to send documents to Syngence for conversion to a Synthetix database.
- Hyperlink to Documents and Notes: Add documents and notes to your clipboard, and create hyperlinks from document text to other documents and notes in CaseLogistix. You can also create hyperlinks from other applications to your CaseLogistix documents and notes.
- CaseLogistix Document Hyperlink Files: You can now create a hyperlink file to a document in CaseLogistix. This creates a file with a .CLXD extension that has all information necessary to open the document in CaseLogistix by clicking on the .CLXD file , or simply hyperlink to the .CLXD file from another application.
- CaseLogistix Note Hyperlink File: You can now create a hyperlink file to a document note. This creates a file with a .CLXN extension that has all information necessary to open the note in CaseLogistix by clicking on the .CLXN file , or simply hyperlink to the .CLXN file from another application.
- Send To Function: Right click a document to send it via email, to a folder, or to a zip file using the same options you have in Windows Explorer Send To menu.
- Multi-Function Printer/Scanner/Copier Integration: Users who own or have access to a LanierT MFP devices, as well as the "Lanier Server" product, easily can scan, OCR, convert to PDF, and/or add to a document store by pressing a single button on the scanner device. Adding a document record to the CaseLogistix document store and then producing a "Lanier Routing Sheet" accomplish this. This sheet is placed on top of the document(s) to be scanned and taken to the Lanier device. The user simply selects the "CaseLogistix" button on the scanner's console and returns to their computer. Within minutes the documents have been processed and appear in CaseLogistix, ready to be searched.
- DoculexT Goby Capture Integration: Users who own or have access to the Doculex Goby Capture product can easily scan, OCR, convert to PDF, and add to a document store by pressing a single button on the scanner device. Adding a document record to the CaseLogistix document store and then producing a "Doculex Goby Sheet" accomplish this. This sheet is placed on top of the document(s) to be scanned and taken to any scanning device capable of saving the scanned images to a network accessible folder. Scanned documents that appear in that folder are processed and routed to the appropriate CaseLogistix document store. Within minutes the documents have been processed and appear in CaseLogistix, ready to be searched.
